I've found it to be relatively simple in my few goes simply because the 12 full infantry divisions the fascists get have had a tendency to all pop in northern Bavaria in one stack right on the border.
(Keep infantry) Make all your aircraft into huge airwings in western Germany, leaving none in storage, since then you keep half otherwise the Fascists get the lion's share of stockpiled equipment.
I've always just taken the Oppose Hitler focus first whilst deleting all my motorized, tank, cavalry divisions.
